I had a dream a few days ago where I was having a surgical procedure performed on me, but my conscious had slipped out of my body and I was watching it happen as I was asleep. I watched my face get cut down the right side with a scalpel. I saw the greenish-yellow exudate pouring out of my face, the red flesh underneath, the blood. I was sickened, but couldn't turn away. I woke up from feeling my body writhe from how disturbed I was, even when I was sleeping.

I was half-asleep when I was dreaming that you finally left me. It felt so real that I jolted awake and my heart was racing. I was relieved when I saw that you hadn't, but at the same time, I don't understand why you don't.
This is the fifth time that I've dreamt of you in some capacity this year.
